HOME

Nestled in the pines of northern Wisconsin, Blakely's Hill House provides unique accommodations in a renovated old Washburn pioneer home brought into the 21st century. Blakely's Hill House made its debut as a BNB (Bed No Breakfast) in the year 2000.

Blakely's Hill House is located in a four-season recreation area near the communities of Bayfield and Ashland. The area is popular for both downhill and cross-country skiing as well as bicycling and sailing.

Special events like Bayfield's Apple Fest, Washburn's Book Across The Bay, and Superior Vistas Bike Tour bring visitors from all over the midwest.

The Big Top Chautauqua is nearby and features well-known entertainers throughout the summer. Washburn's Stagenorth Theater presents plays and live entertainment year-round.

While you may have heard of these places and events, you will be pleasantly surprised by what the sleepy town of Washburn has to offer as well. Stroll downtown and visit the bookstore, ...

art gallery, ...

library, ...

underground Dairy Queen, ...

and historical museum.

Take a walk to the lake and visit our two beautiful parks: Thompsons's West End Park, ...

and Memorial Park.

Amble along the Washburn Walking Trail to enjoy wonderful lake views, ...

or just relax in the back yard.
You'll want to come back!
